چکیده:

Co@Ru nanoparticles with core-shell structure over -Al2O3 are successfully prepared via surfacedisplacement reaction as potential catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis (FTS) process. This novel route including ofreduction of Co core by NaBH4 on the surface of -Al2O3 and then substitution of Co species with Ru species resulted asreduction of RuCl3 precursor with N2H4. The samples were characterized with techniques X-ray diffraction (XRD),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and X-rayphotoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The characterization results confirmed a uniform dispersion of Co@Ru nanoparticleswith core-shell structure over -Al2O3, so that majority of the core consist of cobalt oxide, while the shell waspredominately composed of ruthenium oxide.
